Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect, why, what we do with it, and how you get it back or get rid of it. It is written to be read rather than to be survived. If anything here is unclear, write to hello@symbiontintelligence.com and a person will explain it.
1 · Who we are

2 · What we collect
Information you give us: your name, email, and optionally your phone number when you contact us, book a call, begin a reflection, or purchase. What you put into your Mirror: the reflections, notes, captures and material you choose to record. Purchase information: what you bought and when. We never see or store your full card number, payments are processed by Stripe. Basic technical information: the pages you visited and general device information, used to keep the site working.
3 · What we do with it
To provide what you asked for. To write and deliver your reflections. To reply to you. To process payments and send receipts. To keep the service secure and working. To send service messages about something you have joined. Nothing more.
4 · What we never do
We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade, or share it with advertisers. We do not use what you put into your Mirror to train any model. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not use your reflections as marketing material, not anonymised, not paraphrased, not “inspired by” — without your specific written permission each time.
5 · Your Mirror is yours
Export: everything you have put in, at any time, in a format readable without us. Off the record: say so, and it is not kept. This is enforced technically, not editorially. Deletion: real deletion, not hidden, not archived, within 30 days of your request, confirmed in writing. Correction: tell us what is wrong and we will fix it. 6 · When a person is involved
Your free first reflection is written by a person at Symbiont. Members of our team may access your information only to deliver something you asked for or to fix something that is broken. Access is limited to the people who need it, and it is logged.
7 · AI disclosure
We use automated systems inside our products. Anything automated identifies itself as automated. Nothing we build will imply it is a person or write as though it were the founder. Automated systems do not make decisions about you, they observe, remember, retrieve and reflect, and a human being decides anything consequential.
8 · Who else touches your information
Service providers who make the product work: payment processing (Stripe), email and messaging delivery, hosting and infrastructure, and scheduling. Each receives only what it needs, is bound by contract, and may not use your information for its own purposes. We do not publish a full vendor list on this page; enterprise customers receive one under NDA during scoping.
9 · How long we keep it
While your account is active, and for as long as we are legally required to keep transaction records afterwards. Your Mirror content is deleted within 30 days of a deletion request, or within 90 days of account closure if you do not ask sooner.
10 · Text messages
We only send text messages to people who explicitly opted in via an unchecked box on one of our forms. Consent is never a condition of any purchase. Reply STOP to stop, HELP for help. Full details at SMS Compliance.
11 · Cookies
We use only what is necessary for the site to function and to understand basic traffic. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no third-party advertising pixels.
12 · Children
Our products are not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
13 · Where your information lives
Our infrastructure is in the United States. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information is processed in the United States.
14 · Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and objection. We honour all of these for everyone, regardless of where they live, because drawing that line by geography seemed like the wrong instinct. Write to hello@symbiontintelligence.com.
15 · Changes
If we change this policy we will change the date at the top and, for anything material, tell you directly. We will not quietly widen what we are permitted to do with your information.
